Gym Rules For Gym Goers

Being fit and health is important. And gym is a place where we exercise to be in shape.

Gym houses numerous exercise equipment’s, machines, tools, but there are certain unwritten rules every gym-goers should follow before stepping into the gym.

 

 

  1. Exercise Rather Socialize

You shouldn’t talk on phone, text, or chat with other gym-goers. It’s not a place to socialize rather exercise. Do what you should do at the gym.

 

  1. Put Weights Where They Belong

Gym goers, you should put the weight plates, dumbbells, barbells, bars, and other equipment’s,  back on the racks where they belong, in their designated place.

Note: If you were using them last, you are the one who is responsible for putting them back in place.

 

  1. Wipe It Down

Wipe down your gym equipment before and after each use, because it might be covered in sweat, blood, or sometimes tears. Do a favor to the next guy or girl by cleaning it, wiping it.

 

  1. Apply Deodorant

Gyms are smelly places and body odor simply make it worse. So, you better apply deodorant before entering the gym.

Note: If you don’t like to do it for yourself, at least do it for those who is working out near you.

 

  1. Use Hand Dryers To Dry Hands Only

Hand washing is an important part of hygiene, but folks use hand dryers only for your hands not for other parts of the body.

 

  1. Don’t Sing Out Loud

You might be a good singer, but gym is not a right place to do so. Avoid singing songs out loud as it can distract others from their exercise/workout.

 

  1. Wear Proper Footwear

Whether you run, walk, workout, a decent pair of sport shoes is must and please don’t share them with others.  In addition, wear clean socks, while exercising on mat.

 

  1. Smile But Don’t stare

Gym is a place, where you will get to see so many hotties and dudes, but staring them is not a good idea.

Note: May be you are eyeballing the girls in hot avatar or admiring the physique of a dude,  but both are unacceptable. You should only focus on ‘yourself’.

 

  1. Leave The Headphone Guy Alone

Some people love to exercise with music, its good after all, but some carry headphones because they don’t want to be disturbed. So better leave him alone.

 

  1. Don’t Use The Bench For Storage

Don’t keep your Phone, towel, bottle, on the bench. Use bench for exercising and leave, and avoid any unwanted gym drama.  Open up the bench for others to use.
