Couple Shouldn’t Say These 10 Things To Each Other: Love Guide

10 MAJOR CONVERSATION NOs FOR LOVER

At times, relationships can be complicated with the words we use or the thoughts we have. Anger is bound to explode some day or the other and you may find the urge to use an expletive. However, some statements should never be used nor tolerated in a loving relationship no matter how difficult a relationship gets. Here is a list of statements everyone in a relationship should say ‘No’ to.

  1. ‘You are Bullshit’– No one has the right to put down your entire being to nothing. Never tolerate this.

  1. ‘Whatever’– It is always polite to listen to another’s perspective. Never shut down a conversation with ‘whatever’ in a sarcastic way.

  1. ‘What the Fuck’- This is definitely not the wisest of word choices to direct at your relationship.

  1. You are good for nothing’- Any hits to the self-esteem should be deflected with a strong ‘NO’.

  1. ‘I don’t give a shit to what you think’- If your partner says this, do yourself a favour and walk away.

  1. ‘You are too much to handle’- Perhaps it is time for you to find a stronger counterpart!

  1. ‘You irritate me a lot’- If this is ever said, that means irritation has overtaken the feeling of love. Question whether this relationship is meant to be.

  1. ‘You are a mentally ill being’- Again, do yourself a favour and walk away.

  1. ‘You deserve to be slapped’- I believe that this sort of talking must be reported as verbal abuse. No one has the right to tell you what you deserve and how they would give it to you.

  1. ‘Your parents didn’t raise you well’- Please ask whoever tells this to you to find another person who they feel has been raised well. No one has the right to criticize your birth parents!

Perhaps this has served as a reminder for some to keep their tongues in check or this has opened the eyes of some who are receiving these on a regular basis. Whoever it is, remember that words carry great power and great power must not be used for abuse.
