- Nobody is going to poke you if you stay late at workplace, but if any day you leave a little early, see others face once.
So be ready, complete your tasks on time and follow job timings as it is.
- Office politics is not a myth. Your so called colleagues will advise you wrong and pull you down.
So be ready, keep your eyes and ears open.
- Nobody cares about individual progress in the corporate world.
So be ready to deal with it and don’t expect appreciation.
- Desk jobs kill creativity. Sitting at desk all day kills your imagination.
So be ready to involve yourself in other activities as well.
- Meetings are often a waste of time. Strategic discussions, exchange of ideas are worth listening, but most people don’t and those who listen, don’t act.
So be ready to talk for hours or listen & act.
- You get responsibility of numerous other tasks except the one you were initially hired for.
So either be ready to take on more responsibility or smartly say ‘No’ to additional responsibilities.
- With time, your need as an employee would go entirely ignored. You won’t get what you deserve. So be ready to experience it or show them your importance.
- You have to work with inexperience colleagues and it will be a very stressful thing.
So be ready and be patient.
- HR Department is good for nothing and all your office related issues are precisely yours.
So be ready to handle it on your own or let it go.
- The more resourceful you are at your work, the more you will be burdened with it.
So be ready to work smartly since beginning.
# sooner or later, there will be a time, when you will come to office just for the sake of money, nothing else.
